This month, we are proud to introduce you to Ewen, a quiet and smiling guy from Scotland. He joined Wayco 6 months ago and we’d like to get to know him a little better.

Tell us more about your professional background and what you’re currently up to!

I was born in the highlands of Scotland, close to the furthest north point in Britain. After studying at the University of Glasgow I completed a Doctorate in Behavioural Neuroscience at Imperial College, London. Having worked in the Medical Communications industry for 4 years in London and Amsterdam I took the plunge and become a freelance medical writer and moved to Suriname on the Caribbean coast of South America.

How long have you been living in Spain? Why did you choose Valencia?

My partner and I moved to Valencia at the beginning of 2016. We came back to Europe to be closer to our families. Valencia ticked all the boxes we were looking for in a new home, in terms of lifestyle and location.

What is the best part about the living in Valencia?

The Turia is my favorite feature of the city, and cycling through it to work is a great way to start the day.

What are the advantages of working in a coworking space?

As well as allowing me to meet new people and practice my Spanish, joining Wayco has helped me be more efficient and separate my work and home life. The team are always open and ready to help and the coffee at the attached Dulce Paladar Café is excellent.

Thanks Ewen, for your kind words. We are glad to have you in our community.

If you’d like to join Wayco, please do not hesitate to reach out and ask about our coworking facilities and services.
