«Practical guide to destroy the city» are two hours of your life invested in understanding why it is necessary to “destroy” or deconstruct the Valencia that we know and the historical and aesthetic perception that we have of its monuments and public spaces. A day that will focus on the need to evolve and adapt the city to the new lifestyle of its inhabitants, through a more inclusive, social, feminist, experimental and flexible architecture and design. And all this, without losing its own identity.
Three talks. Five speakers. And a journalist in charge.
Do you need prior knowledge? No.
Does Valencia have to interest you? Yes.
Will you enjoy? We hope a lot.

This project speaks of the need for freedom in cities and the search for powerful symbols of reuse. In it, different symbolic locations of the city of Valencia are shown, with daring and fun uses out of the ordinary. Abandoned and degraded places, wasted spaces or small corners with their own identity, are used as a canvas to rethink the city. With Juan Suay, Juan Suay and Bernat Ivars, from the Valencian architecture studio Quatre Caps.
